Leaving a comfortable perch as Best Local Band in Alaska (Anchorage Press 2003) for his work with The Roman Candles, Matt Hopper became a wandering troubadour, writing over 100 songs in 2004 and releasing his first official solo record on Hatcher Pass Records, and playing gigs non-stop since Sept 2004.

Both Roman Candles full lengths recieved college radio airplay, as well as the latest release from Hopper. "Stick It To Your Man" off of "Bang! Bang! Bang" won the Alaska Public Radio Networks "Song of the Year" award for "Best Rock Song".

He has enjoyed a successful career playing in Broadway shows, backing up name entertainers such as Chuck Berry, The Fifth Dimension, The Drifters, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers, Anthony Newley, Maureen McGovern, the Smothers Brothers, recording with the Orchestre Suisse Romande, television appearances and teaching guitar and bass.

James Talley

Drawing from influences ranging from David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, and Self. Army of Robots inspiration lies more heavily on '80's New Wave than straight rock and roll. They are often described as being in a genre of their own.

Chronophonic

Chronoponic features a four piece horn section led by Downbeat Magazine's 2002 winner of outstanding performance by a jazz instrumental soloist.

Their second album, "Footwork" was released in February of 2004. Production credits include Kevin Clock (Gladys Knight, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Yes) and mastering credits go to Tom Baker (Beastie Boys, Stone Temple Pilots, BB King). Currently, the album is charting on 23 stations in 16 states and recieving airplay from over 130 radio stations.
